Meet OUR Team

Madeleine started dancing in Launceston at the age of three, when she quickly fell in love with all styles of dance performing on stage. Madeleine continued her dance training in Launceston, studying ballroom, latin, jazz, lyrical and ballet until she completed her year 12 studies. Over this time she began teaching juniors and realised her passion for teaching dance. It was then Madeleine moved to Sydney after being successful in auditioning at Brent St, one of Australia's leading performing arts training centres, to further her dance training and form many industry connections with working professional dancers.

Madeleine returned to Tasmania in 2014 to begin teaching at Dance Academy 34 with  and in 2016 purchased Dance Academy 34 and took over the role of Director. Over the past 9 years Madeleine has worked hard to build a dancing community that encourages children to thrive in a performing arts setting.

Bachelor of Health and Physical Education

Cert IV in Dance and Performing Arts 

Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Business Management 

Hannah began dancing at Dance Academy 34 at the age of three, training in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Highland, Broadway, Commercial, and Musical Theatre. During her years training at Dance Academy 34 Hannah was accepted and trained as a part of the Tasmanian Youth Classical Ballet and the Australian Ballet Interstate Training Program. Upon her completion of her year 12 studies Hannah successfully auditioned for Launch Performing Arts Centre on the Gold Coast where she studied her Cert IV in Dance in 2023. In 2024 Hannah returned to Launceston to take up a teaching role at Dance Academy 34.
